I would like to know which free third party compilers are supported by MATLAB to be used with MEX API, MATLAB Compiler, different Builder and Simulink based products.

Every release of MATLAB supports different free third party compilers. Note that not all MATLAB based products are supported with each of these free compilers.

In general, MATLAB supports following free compilers on 32-bit Windows:

LCC - win32

Microsoft Visual C++ (Express Edition)

Open Watcom

The free compilers supported on 64-bit Windows are:

Microsoft Platform SDK

Microsoft Visual C++ (Express Edition)
