Description

The Wonder Wave Series expands Tabor's line of arbitrary waveform generators. This new line of generators leverages all of the advances in component speed, D-to-A conversion and communication technology to provide powerful waveform creation and output capabilities.

Featuring several models supporting a wide range of signal requirements, these digital instruments combine the capabilities and complexity of digital conversion and control with the signal integrity of synthesized analog generators. Sample rates from 50MS/s to 1.2GS/s allows for generation of a wide range of frequencies from 25MHz to 600MHz, making these instruments ideal for many applications, including electro-mechanical simulation, wireless communications, audio and video simulation, medical and biomedical.

The high resolution, up to 16 bits, makes the Wonder Wave generators a good choice for narrow-band modulation and creation of complex waveforms with small details superimposed on large signals.

MATLAB users can communicate directly with Tabor Electronics' Wonder Wave Series hardware using The MathWorks' Instrument Control Toolbox and an IVI instrument driver that is included at no charge along with the Tabor hardware. This allows users to control instruments directly from MATLAB, including instrument setup, download of mathematical equations and signal simulations to instrument memory, and initiating waveform generation. Instrument Control Toolbox provides a direct and consistent interface to each device while exposing the inherent features of the hardware. Further information on using MATLAB with Tabor instruments is available on the MATLAB - Tabor resource page.
