Timer implementation in MATLAB

Dear Professionals,
Iam doing C code to MATLAB model conversion.
I want to implement OS based timer which contains the following
functions
Start timer(Timer_ID,delay), /*Starts the timer*/
Check timer(Timer_ID) /* whether timer elapsed */
Scheduler(); which schudules all the application timer which were started


 When I tried to use the timer finction in MATLAB it is throwing error that can't support the timer function for code generation.
I am usin9 2011B. Please help me to implement this.
