&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;If you want the cylinder aligned along the z-axis, that is what the 'cylinder' function does.  Otherwise you can achieve an arbitrary orientation by rotating and translating the outputs of 'cylinder' appropriately before handing them to 'surf'.&lt;br&gt;
