sure an excellent job. Like jie zhang, I also spent sometime realizing that a pause was necessery in your suggested exercise for GUI 2. Is it planned a "spoiler" for excercise? Thanks!

I think this
r = angle(repmat(exp(1i*x(:)'),length(y),1) ... ./ repmat(exp(1i*y(:)),1,length(x)));
