This is a demo code for image enhancement (contrast improvement as well as increase in sharpness of details) using hybrid metaheuristic. This algorithm uses a combination of differential evolution with simulated annealing to find an optimum set of parameters for a carefully chosen enhancement function. The transformation function focuses on improving the visibility of edges as well as increasing entropy and contrast of the image.
