The BER Performance of 4-QAM and QPSK over an AWGN channel are shown to be the same. Simulation code is easily Modified to investigate the performance without the use of Gray coding. Also to modify the code to simulate M=64 QAM with Gray coding.
Open and the run file FourQAM.m within MATLAB.
